The World Education Council is a partnership of individuals and organisations around the world who believe that the power of education is the power to change the world. Originating from the highest echelons of academia, the scientific community, governments, and industry, members are recognised leaders in their fields. Members of the World Education Council are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of many around the globe by providing access to quality education which meets the standards set forth by the council.

W.E.C.’s vision is to empower people of all ages with the benefits of education to better their lives and the lives of future of generations.

The World Education Council is a Geneva-based organisation recognised by the Global Development Network and the World Bank. It is not a government organisation and has no political or ideological affiliation.
