Michelle has over 30 years experience in the development of human service agencies including for and not for profits. She has created diverse organizational models which promote opportunities for people with developmental disabilities, seniors, early childhood, therapies, self determination and property acquisition. Michelle’s entrepreneurial history has impacted new services in over 20 states while serving thousands of people and creating stronger cutting edge organizations.

Michelle’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from Prescott College, a Master of Sciences in Disabilities Services and Management from the University of San Francisco in which she graduated Phi Beta Kappa, and Doctoral Studies in Non-Profit Leadership and Management from Capella University.

Michelle is active as a consultant for the Opportunity Management Group (OMG) which is dedicated to aiding the growth and development of for profit and nonprofit organisations. She is also a founder of Rise Inc, which is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities and their families. She is owner of Acumen Fiscal Agent which provides financial services to people with disabilities. Michelle is a member of ANCOR – the American Network of Community Options & Resources and for the past ten years has also has been a presenter at the annual conference for YAI /NIPD and the YAI National Institute for People with Disabilities.
