Women’s Earth Alliance-Action and Water in Africa

Through the grassroots connection of women world wide, the Women’s Earth Alliance has an  “innovative positioning — at the nexus of women’s leadership, environmental sustainability, and economic development — WEA is poised to generate self-sustaining, and thriving communities worldwide.” They deliver unique capacity-building trainings and advocacy services that brings together microenterprise, leadership development, appropriate technology and communication tools to facilitate true systemic change. The 2010 West African Women and Water Campaign is a wonderful example of the Women’s Earth Alliance in action.
