This is according to a report by the Global Industry Analyst’s report in June, 2010. “”The report titled “Green It Services: A Global Strategic Business Report” published by Global Industry Analysts, provides a review of industry overview, technology overview, technology introductions, and profiles of major players.” North America and Europe have made the majority of revenue in the Green IT area, at 88.1% , however Asia-Pacific will be the fastest growing sector moving forward. The need for Green IT education is evident as numerous individuals must get up to speed to match growth.

The UAE Has High Ecological Footprint-Solutions in New WWF Video

A video distributed by the Emirates Wildlife Society – The World Wildlife Fund brings the concept of the Ecological Footprint to life, with a highly creative approach using animated newspaper cutouts that shows the effects of excessive consumption of resources. Although created to highlight the United Arab Emirates, which has one of the highest ecological footprints in the world, with 57% being generated by households, the messaging in the video illustrates the powerful impact of individuals making conscious choices in consumption.
